Thank you for attending our Cyber Day on the Hill, organized in cooperation with the PA Coalition of Charter Schools. This was our best year yet, with cyber families standing side-by-side with traditional charter school students and families, united in one cause: to protect our schools and our choice in public education. In fact, our group was so large, we had to have our rally on the front steps of the capitol building instead of in the main rotunda.
Our policymakers were able to hear from the thousands of their constituents who came from all corners of the state -- by car and bus -- to rally for their schools.
And participants heard inspiring words from state legislators who are champions for our cause. You can see some of the coverage, view some great video, and see some great pictures by clicking on the links below. If you have pictures or video you want to share, send a link to us at info@pacyberfamilies.org. We'll update this page regularly, so be sure to check back often! Finally, while our day was successful, it's just one day. We must sustain our advocacy EVERY DAY. If you weren't able to attend, we missed you. But you still can act. You can contact your legislator in his or her Harrisburg office or in one of their district offices. Be sure to ask them for their continued support of YOUR child's school.
