HARRISBURG, Pa. (Jan. 25, 2013) – Pennsylvania Families for Public Cyber Schools today expressed its disappointment in House Majority Leader Mike Turzai’s announcement of proposed public education funding cuts affecting Pennsylvania’s 42,000 children who attend public cyber schools.
Court rules in favor of special-needs child enrolled in cyber school
HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 8, 2011) Pennsylvania Families for Public Cyber Schools today applauded the decision of the York County Court of Common Pleas to overturn truancy charges against a special-needs child who now attends public cyber school. The court decided the case in favor of a family charged with truancy by the West Shore School District in Cumberland County.
