We know we have sent out many cyber alerts asking you to reach out to your senator asking them to vote NO on Senate Bill 1085. We can not stress enough how important it is to for every senator to hear from each of you!
This bill will be devastating for our schools. With the proposed cut, our schools will be forced to lay off teachers which translates into larger class sizes. Why should our public school students be treated differently than other public school students?
It is important for our senators to hear directly from you. They need hear your stories. Please go to your senator's district office and tell them to vote no on Senate Bill 1085. If you can't go to their office, please call or write your senator. We know many of you have reached out to your senator, but please contact them again.
If you do not know who your senator is, you can go to www.pacyberfamilies.org and click on "links" at the top of the page. Then click on "find my legislator". It will take you to the state page. Once on that page, in the upper right corner you can find your legislator by clicking the address link. Then enter your address. It will bring up your senator. You can click on the senator's name and it will bring up his contact information.
